Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is sponsored by Ms. Kimbrough and Ms. Cardin. Any student that wishes to participate in FBLA is welcome. We hold informative meetings at the beginning of each school year where all students are invited to attend. Things that we plan on doing throughout the school year:
Titan's Learning Lab - the students get to go to Nissan Stadium in Nashville, tour the stadium and speak with individuals about thier jobs with the Titan's organization. Includes a gift and game day ticket
FBLA Regional competitions - the students can compete in a wide variety of competitions
Predators Leadership Night - the students tour Bridgestone Arena and participate in a panel discussion with different individuals that work for the Predators. We stay for the students to watch a Predators game that evening.
FBLA State competitions - the students that qualify will advance to the State competition. This is usually held from Sunday to Wednesday in the spring in Chattanooga, TN
FBLA National competitions - if any student wins at state they have the opportunity to compete in National competition. This is usually in July and has been in California, Texas, and Oklahoma.
We also try to participate in some type of community service. This is a wonderful organization and looks great on scholarships and resumes. We hope to see you in FBLA!!
