Giles County Teachers Awarded for Teaching Excellence

Giles County Teachers were awarded for student improvement and achievement on last year's CASE Benchmark assessments. 

 

K-1 Winners:

 

  • Highest Percent Correct on CASE Assessment # 2 ELA: Lauren Carpenter, 93.9%, Richland Elementary School
  • Highest Percent Correct on CASE Assessment # 2 Math: Belinda Fuller, 86.2%, Minor Hill School

 

Grade 2-5 Winners:

  • Greatest gain in % Correct Responses ELA: Debbie Smith, 11.99% Minor Hill School
  • Greatest gain in % Correct Responses Math: Felecia Hargrove, 2.05%, Minor Hill School 
  • Greatest gain in % Correct Responses Science: Lisa Pickett, 3.52%, Southside Elementary School
  • Greatest gain in proficiency % ELA: Kayla Garvin, 26%, Elkton School
  • Greatest gain in proficiency % Math: Tammy Gaudette, 20%, Elkton School
